I opened Surf City back in 1996 with some good friends … you know who you are. I did this while still holding a 40 hr a week job with the Dept. of Defense -four 10 hr days made it possible. Working for Uncle Sugar beats working for a living as they say. It was long hours, but some of the best times I can remember. Thanks Anchorage for 4 great years and sorry to all that still try and get "connected" there in the summers. Surf City became a used book store (ironic) and now it’s an art gallery.
